Care Instruction

All our Seilaa jewellery pieces are made from brass or stainless steel base material. Brass is the most commonly used base metal for everyday jewellery, which is then plated with 18k gold for durability. Stainless steel is very durable, resistant to wear and tarnishing, and the plating can last for years when properly cared for, following our care guide. As with all plated jewellery, you must care for the pieces to prevent the deterioration of the plating over time.

To extend the longevity of your pieces we recommend the following:

• Removing jewellery when sleeping. 
• Storing your jewellery pieces individually
• We recommend avoiding prolonged exposure of any plated jewellery to water.
• Avoid contact with chemicals and cosmetics such as perfumes, lotions and deodorants.
• Keep your jewellery pieces sparkling using a soft cloth to remove surface dirt.

Please note: SEILAA does not sell solid gold items.

Always remember that your jewellery should be the last thing you put on and the first thing you take off when dressing.
